Summary

  • Bootstrap the Helm charts repository with local tooling and CI.

Changes

  • charts/ directory for charts (empty; add via make new-chart NAME=<name>)
  • Makefile: help, new-chart, deps, lint (helm lint --strict + helm template), ct-lint, package (to .packages/), clean
  • ct.yaml + lintconf.yaml: chart-testing config (version-bump check on, maintainer validation off)
  • .gitea/workflows/lint.yaml: ct lint on PRs when a chart changed (helm v4.3.0, chart-testing-action v2.7.0; v2.8.0 fails on act_runner, see 23de314)
  • .editorconfig (README and .gitignore are in the initial commit on main)

Verification

  • helm v4.3.0 (temporary binary): make new-chart NAME=smoke && make lint package passed (1 chart linted, 0 failed; smoke-0.1.0.tgz packaged), throwaway chart removed
  • make lint package with no charts: no-op, exit 0
  • make new-chart without NAME / with existing name: exits non-zero with usage/exists message
  • .packages/ confirmed ignored by git
  • ct.yaml, lintconf.yaml, workflow parse as YAML
  • CI on 23de314: Lint charts job passed (checkout, setup-helm, chart-testing-action, list-changed); ct lint step skipped because no chart changed
